Banjo Boy to be Vetted

Fixed Odds betting on tomorrow night’s Group 2 Macro Meats Shootout at Sandown Park has been suspended.

Greyhound Banjo Boy will be assessed by a veterinarian prior to 8.30am on Thursday, as a precautionary measure following a suspected spider/insect bite sustained earlier in the week.

A determination on whether the greyhound will be scratched from the event will be made following the vet’s examination.
