Xylia’s Dashing Mission

Xylia Allen will attempt to emulate the astonishing achievement of Queenslander Dashing Corsair when she lines up in the National Distance Championship Grand Final in Perth on Saturday night.

The Jenny Hunt-trained Xylia Allen won last year’s National Sprint Championship at The Meadows, and she is one of the favourites to win on Saturday night along with fellow Victorian representative Sweet It Is.

Dashing Corsair, who recently passed away aged seven, won the National Sprint Championship in 2009 before taking out the National Distance Championship in 2011.
