Seven Week Trial for Herald Sun Form Guides

Greyhound racing fans are advised that as of Monday (7 July) there will be some slight tweaks to the level of form presented for some meetings in the Herald Sun.

The space for greyhound racing form and fields is defined by the Herald Sun as per an agreement with the Victorian Racing Industry and due to more greyhound meetings being held; some form has not been shown.

As of Monday, a new 3-tiered approach to form presentation will be trialled. There will be different categories of form defined for various meetings depending on their quality, the time of the meeting and an even distribution of premium form for GRV’s Clubs.

This will change from week-to-week for seven weeks on a trial basis to determine what impact the level of detail in which form is presented in the Herald Sun has on wagering turnover. With the ultimate goal to be determine the best way to present our form and grow wagering turnover.

There will still be a reference to all meetings that GRV hold in some capacity within the form, but there will be occasions where readers will be re-directed to find form on the GRV website rather than having it displayed in the paper.
