FLYING SOLO

Whata Good Size (Fear Zafonic – Surf Queen) is the only Victorian-trained greyhound to make it through to the Group 1 Vic Peters Classic Final, to be held at Wentworth Park on Saturday 9 November.

The Jason Thompson-trained greyhound led all the way to win his semi by seven lengths last night in 29.82sec, his 19th win from just 32 starts.
 
All first and second placegetters have earned their way into the $75,000 to-the-winner final, with the other semi winners being Belfast Johnny (29.67sec), Frosty Vintage (29.90sec) and Evil Punk (29.70sec).

Victorian Living Proof, trained by Glenn Rounds, qualified as the first reserve after being the fastest third placegetter.
