OVERWHELMING INVESTMENT

A small investment has blossomed beyond the wildest dreams of recent retiree and hobby greyhound trainer Tony Flores.

Flores, 65, trained his first group winner on Saturday night when Amity Flame won the Group 3 Topcat Video Cup (725m) at The Meadows.

The Gippsland trainer purchased littermates Amity Flame and Hurricane Isaac when they were young untried pups two years ago with a plan to train them once he retired from the workforce, which happened in April this year.
