VICTORIA’S WILD WAYS

Six Victorian-trained greyhounds will contest Saturday’s Group 1 Nationals Grand Finals at The Meadows after wild card results fell the Big V’s way.

As this year’s host state, Victoria automatically gets two representatives into both the National Sprint and Distance Grand Finals, with NSW, WA, SA, Tasmania and Queensland each having a single runner.

The eighth and final place in each grand final is filled by the highest ranked greyhound in the AGRA rankings that competed in a state final.

Tomac Bale (Mark Delbridge) and Paw Licking (Kelvyn Greenough) earned their right to represent Victoria in Saturday night
