BUNGA BUNGA WINS FIRST RACE

Bunga Bunga after her debut win at Warragul last night.

Greyhound Bunga Bunga, owned by the Triple M Hot Breakfast team of Eddie McGuire, Luke Darcy and Mick Molloy, impressively won her debut race at Warragul last night causing a social media stir throughout the night and this morning.

Starting a $1.60 favourite from box three, the daughter of El Grand Senor and So Seductive flew out of the boxes and was never headed as she stormed to a seven length victory.

Bunga Bunga ran a time of 25.87s over the 460m journey which was just .03 seconds off the best time of the night, set by the dominant Proven Nitro in the free for all.

For co-trainer Angela Jackson it was a special occasion, as she has been with ‘Marsha’ since she was born.

“It’s really special feeling becuase I’ve had her since she was a puppy, I’m just so proud of her,” Jackson said.

“I only got Bobby Boucheau (Jackson’s former champion stayer) when he was about two years old, so this is a much different feeling.”

Bunga Bunga will contest the semi-finals of the VicBreeders at Warragul next Tuesday night.
