LOCAL STAR THE SENTIMENTAL FAVOURITE

Sandra Collins has been the judge at the Traralgon greyhounds for the past 32 years, however she is hoping that in eight days time she will need to shun that role for a night.

That Friday evening the club will host its biggest event of the year, the $60,000 Group 2 Traralgon Cup, a race Collins has major aspirations of winning with her champion sprinter Cintiarna (Bombastic Shiraz – Hello Sienna).

Six heats of the cup will be run over the 513m trip this Saturday, with the winners and two fastest seconds to qualify for the $40,000 to-the-winner final.
