STARLINER WINS BIG DOG CUP

NSW greyhound Starliner ($5.70) won the Group 3 Big Dog Cup (600m) last night at Albion Park in Queensland.

The Peter Fuller-trained greyhound defeated Victorian superstar and $2.00Fav Irma Bale (Graeme Bate) by three quarters of a length to secure his 19th win from 36 starts in the time of 35.33sec.

Starliner secured a $25,000 first prize.

Irma Bale (below) was also runner-up in the Group 3 Betfair Cup (720m) at Sydney
