SHOOTING STARS AT SANDOWN

The unique four-dog Macro Meats Shootout will be held tonight at Sandown Park in what is always a thrilling race where the fastest four greyhounds in the country race against each other and the clock.

Last year, Bekim Bale, announced himself as one of the most exciting greyhounds in the country when winning the Shootout in a time of 29.14s over the 515m journey and tonight his brother Heston Bale is looking to do the same.

The format of the race suits Heston Bale as he always seems to find trouble in running but with only three other greyhounds to contend with he may well break through for his first group victory.
