MIATA MILES AHEAD

Champion stayer Miata returned from a six week spell to blitz her rivals at Cannington last Saturday night.

Contesting a West Australian heat of the Group 1 National Distance Championship, Miata won by 16 lengths.

She is set to contest the final this Saturday night, and victory will see her head to Hobart for the $75,000 to-the-winner final on August 25.
