GUNS FIRE IN SILVER CHIEF SEMIS

Queensland superstar Glen Gallon and talented youngster Cape Hawke fired in the semis of the Group 1 Silver Chief last night, as new track record holder Heston Bale was beaten by Godsend.

Glen Gallon and Cape Hawke shared time of the night honours stopping the clock at 29.77. Glen Gallon is looking for his second Group 1 win in a month after his impressive Brisbane Cup Victory where he beat in form Victorian Dyna Tron.

Cape Hawke on the other hand will be looking for his first group success as the Jamie Ennis trained youngster has yet to fulfil his potential at group level.
