Trainers of the eight 2011 Melbourne Cup finalists have given the inside word on their greyhounds’ chances of snaring the $200,000 first prize.

Graeme Bate believes that Shereen Bale is his best chance of victory, Andrea Dailly [right] says the first 30 metres of the race will be critical to the chances of her young superstar Bekim Bale, while Gary Ennis has indicated that his retiring superstar Enry Walt will need a minor miracle from box 3.
