RACING REVIEW SEPT 9 – 12

Litter brothers Fully Advanced and Just Tripping gave owner/trainer Ron McCullagh a winning quinella in the $12,000 to-the-winner Vic. Breeders final over 525 metres at The Meadows on Saturday night.

VIC STAYER WINS GROUP 3 IN SYDNEY
Also making news on Saturday night was gun Victorian stayer Shimaguni, who took out the Group 3 Chairman’s Cup [720m] at Wentworth Park. Trained by Jim Redenbach at Cranbourne,  Shimaguni collected a $25,000 first prize.
 
MORE RACING NEWS:
– The Hugh Emmerson Memorial Final [520m] was run at Geelong last Friday night, with the Graeme Bate-trained Martili Bale claiming the $5,000 first prize.  VIDEO REPLAY

– The Peter Giles-trained Kinga Will won the Hudson Pacific Grade 5 Final [725m] at The Meadows last Saturday night, and in doing so claimed a $10,000 winner’s cheque.

– The Group 3 Canberra Cup Final [530m] was won by hot favourite Prince Diablo, with Victoria’s best performer in the race being the Jeff Britton-trained Push The Paint, who ran third.

an exciting finish to the Vic. Breeders Maiden series.

– The Cranbourne Puppy Classic Final [520m] was won by Yowyeh last Monday night. The Angela Langton-trained greyhound earned a $15,000 first prize.  VIDEO REPLAY
