The TAB Sportsbet Great Chase offers community groups for the intellectually or physically disabled the opportunity to experience the thrill of greyhound racing.  During the month of November, community groups are invited to attend their local greyhound club were they will be assigned a greyhound that will run on their behalf.

If your greyhound progresses through each of these elimination stages then so does your organisation! Furthermore with each win during the series, your community group will also receive prize money;

$500 for winning a Heat
$1,000 for winning a Semi Final
$5,000 for winning the Grand Final
$2,000 for running second in the Grand Final
$1,000 for running third in the Grand Final

The community group that is assigned to the winning greyhound of The 2011 TAB Sportsbet Great Chase Grand Final will also receive 10% of their greyhounds prize money for the next 12 months - anywhere that it runs in Australia!
