A.L (Chris) Flint [Pioneer]
A barrister, Chris Flint used his knowledge of the legal system for the betterment of greyhound racing. Chris was unswerving in his pursuit of two ideals: the abolition of proprietary racing, and that both field coursing and mechanical hare coursing should be controlled under the NCA banner. In 1956 legislation was passed that abolished proprietary racing and brought all racing under the control of one body. However, it was not to be the NCA but a new Greyhound Racing Control Board (GRCB) of Victoria, of which Chris was the first ever Chairman.
