Stan Lake served on the Warrnambool GRC committee for an amazing 52 years from 1946 through to 1998, which is the longest recorded time served on a committee at any Victorian greyhound track. Stan was at the helm during construction of the Wannon Room in 1990 and the inception of the Warrnambool Classic concept in 1991, which are both integral parts of the Warrnambool GRC as it is today.
